Extremely frustrated...USB

OK...I unrooted and took my Incredible back to stock. I then installed the OTA update so that I could flash to Froyo. No matter what I do, I cannot get my Windows 7 laptop to recognize the Incredible. I have removed PDA Net, HTC Sync, etc., but nothing is working.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I've spent about 4 hours this morning doing everything I can think of and I'm running out of ideas.

Try another usb port?
Go into the device manager and see if the phone is there.
Restart your computer with it unplugged, then plug it in.
Do a battery pull on the incredible then put it back then plug it in.
Install the android SDK if you haven't already.

That's about all I can think of..

Also, make sure your phone is in Disk Drive mode. Then it would be recognized.

Finally found out the issue. I switched to another micro-USB cable and...PRESTO...it found my phone. ARG! B-)
