When I drive my truck, I like to plug my phone into the stereo with the aux port using a standard audio cord with mini jacks. This worked okay for a while but then, like the old Motorola phones that use to do the same thing, my G2 started having issues. When I have it plugged in and playing Pandora or whatever, it will suddenly stop playing, like I tapped the pause button, and when I restart it, the volume goes down to about 2/3. I have to tap play again and then turn the volume back up. I figured out that it does this because of an apparent bad connection between the audio jack and plug on the cord. The slightest little road vibration will cause it to happen. It is apparently doing the same thing as if I removed the plug from the jack like I would if I was getting out of my vehicle and taking my phone with me. When you remove the plug from the jack, whatever is playing will automatically pause, and when you resume it, the volume automatically reduces and tells you that you shouldn't listen to it loud. Whatever. Is there a way to turn these annoying functions off? (the auto pause when the plug is removed and the auto reduced volume whenever you start playing anything?.
