Extremely frustrating problem with WiFi calling on AT&T uverse

So my problem is that my G2 and wifes Mytouch 4g are extremely unreliable on the Tmobile network alone, most of the time we can not make calls without being connected to WiFi.

However recently on my phone in particular, my G2 seems to be crashing the WiFi. Ill get everything properly connected, but when i go to actually make a call the WiFi signal completely disappears and i have to reboot the router to get the signal back.

Does anyone have a fix for this issue? I'm hoping it's a fairly simple settings fix on the Uverse router, i just don't want to start messing with settings.

I have similar issues with my AT&T U-Verse. Maybe we should see what ports need to be opened up? I bet T-Mo would know, although I bet the average customer service agent won't have a clue.

that's very odd. I'm on uverse and haven't had any problems making wifi calls. I'm not sure what is going on but I would call customer support
