Has anyone else experienced eye strain with the Pixel 8 Pro? I noticed my eyes getting blurry after using it for a while. That went away when I started using my S24 Ultra.

Hmm I've never had the issue with P8P or any phone ..but I know others have more sensitive eyes ..

I haven't experienced eye strain with the P8P, but I saw red a lot that time I made the mistake of buying a Motorola. ;)

Seriously, if you look online, eye strain is reported by some users with many, if not most, smartphones - including the S24U. Human eyes just don't do that well staring at a small flickering digital screen all day - and many, if not most, of us are in front of one a good share of our day, these days. Some folks with eye strain sensitivity do better with some phones than others (as your experience indicates), but you would be hard-pressed to find a phone where someone, somewhere, doesn't report that it is hard on their eyes and causing them eye strain. The degree of sensitivity seems to be more a function of individual physiology than phone hardware.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone. I did some research online and found that the PWM for the Pixel 8 Pro is lower than it should be for people with sensitive eyes. The phone was released with a higher rate but they lowered it in the October update. My guess is lower rates help battery life.
