face unlock bug

So I see that the drop was supposed to address the bug where the lock icon is unlocked but you're still on the lock screen and need to go back to get to the home screen.

I'm still having that issue. Anyone else having this problem?

Do you mean you just need to turn on the setting where you bypass the lock screen after face unlock, and go right to the home page?

It's not a bug, it's a setting. Turn on the lock screen bypass in the Face Unlock settings...

no, I'm aware of the setting and don't use it. I like opening notifications by unlocking but not going to the home screen. the bug is different, when I unlock the phone and swipe it freezes on the lock screen even though it's showing it unlocked.

Aaah ok. I'll keep an eye out for that one.

I've seen this big for a while and can confirm the patch didn't address it. It happens more frequently than I'd like. Hopefully next month

It definitely didn't kill the bug. It may be happening less or that could be my imagination.
