Right now, I am using the Pattern.
On my Optimus, I used an app to keep it unlocked at all times.

Which one do you use and, if you want to tell us, why?

Re: Face Unlock, PIN, Pattern, Slide, Password or none of the abo

I used face unlock for a a day or so its cool and more responsive than id expected and if u dont get a good view of ur face it goes to the pattern unlock. i stopped using it because i just wanna pick my phone up and use it and i know no one else except my lady is going to try and use it and that would be rare cuz shes not a phone nerd like me she uses an old lg resistive touch feature phone. i may give her my Gnex if i decide to go with the GS3

widget locker and pattern, new to ICS coming from webOS....def like to lock my phone and just landed on the pattern, not too interested in the face unlock

I've been using face unlock for a week and I really like it. It's usually just as fast as slide unlock and when it doesn't work I can just enter a PIN to unlock. I don't like locking my phone but I have to for work.

I never really liked pattern unlock

Slide. Easiest one to use and quickest.

Re: Face Unlock, PIN, Pattern, Slide, Password or none of the abo

Password. But only because it's enforced by Lotus Traveler on my phone (work email) Prior to installing Traveler I used nothing.

Re: Face Unlock, PIN, Pattern, Slide, Password or none of the abo

Slide, because my phone never leaves my side. If I ever go somewhere that I might put it down for even a minute, I put it on pattern unlock.

I use a pin. One thing I noticed with pattern is when you look at the phone at an angle you can usually see the pattern. Especially on a recently cleaned screen. Would use slide but my luck that's when I'd lose it.

I think there's an option you can set to not show the traced pattern when unlocking the phone.

Re: Face Unlock, PIN, Pattern, Slide, Password or none of the abo

I'm using face unlock and I am surprised at how good it is. It usually recognizes me and when it doesn't, I never feel like it took too long before it gave up and asked for my pin. The "improve face unlock" photos are a great feature too.

I'm a fan of None, but the volume buttons are unlocking it in that state (I thought it's supposed to be only the power button?) so I'm sticking to Slide for now.

Reproduced the issue with FD02 and I switched to a CM9 nightly. Works as expected there, and there's an option on a separate page which will allow volume buttons to unlock the screen.

Photo's will unlock the face unlock. Just saying.

Face unlock on my phone will not work. I have tried in all different lighting, inside, outside, and everytime it says my face can not be captured! Sucks

pattern. IMO best balance of ease, speed, security, and convenience.

what I mean is the oil left from your finger can be seen sometimes.

I've noticed that too, but none of my friends are smart enough to figure that out so I don't have to worry :D

Pin# as it is a requirement for work purposes.
