FACEBOOK 1.3.2 PROBLEM

Can't update Facebook to 1.3.2 through the market or any apk downloads....any ideas?

Yes it won't update through market...

Does it still say update available in the market after you've un-installed it?

There is no uninstall option. Just an install option. Seems I may have downloaded the update but just won't install from market. Tried deleting previously and ran into some issues. I would love a manual way to update?

I thought your first post said you un-installed facebook.

If you're rooted, use Titanium backup to un-install the facebook application, then go to the market and download it and install it from there.

In the market make sure facebook says "install" and not "update" - if it says "update" it means it's still installed.

No dice. Uninstalled 1.2 from TIT BKUP and went to MRKT. MRKT has one install button only and same results of error installing after download seems to go through.

Try re-starting after you un-install.

Now I can't get my BKUPs from TIT back for FB. argh.

If you're rooted try Rom Manager and "fix permissions"

Make sure you restart after you un-install facebook, then go back to the market and hit install.

glad it worked out, sorry I didn't think of it sooner!

(I'm on a custom rom not running the sprint vm app, though I saw it this morning when I flashed back to stock to update the PRL).

Ok, this fix permissions is taking forever. Going to give VM a shot to update after that. Have good weekend.
