Facebook Android Help?!?

I have an android and I have facebook. The notifacations come too late. They show up in my notifacations bar half an hour when someone has sent me a message, liked my status, etc.. I really want it to elert me as soon as someone messages me or likes my status. Is there an app I can download that will alert me the very second later sommeone posts on my wall/sends me a message, etc... Thanks for reading.

Only an app that connects to the Facebook server can do that, and the Facebook app is the only app I know of that can. Are you sure there's no setting in the Facebook app for how often it should be checking? (Usually setting that to 0 means "immediately".)
