Am I doing something wrong, or does the Facebook app not seem optimized for the next 7? Text and post in general just seen extremely small and difficult to view. Is there a workaround for this or is this just the way it is with this app on the Nexus 7?

It's not optimized at all. I'd the full website (the app is just an HTML5 web app anyway).

Yes, I just tried the webpage for Facebook and that works a lot better I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Is there a way to set a bookmark webpage on your home screen of the Nexus 7?

Not sure how well it does it, add it as a bookmark in chrome, then in chrome press and hold on it in the bookmarks page, you should get an option to add to home screen

you can easily find a bookmark widget in the Play Store if you want a better looking thing on your homescreen
