Facebook Badge

I just come over to the S22 Ultra from the Iphone 13 PM. I have tried switching to Android a couple years ago because I think the phone are better. But I go back because of stupid stuff not working properly.

That being said I am not getting the badge notification on my Facebook app. This is one of the issues I had when I was with Samsung in the past. I am assuming this issue still has not been fixed?

All other apps badge count work ? If so long press Facebook icon >tap info>notifications on ? Then tap Notification each sub menu tap see if each category toggle on and looks good

Yes, all other badges work. Notifications for Facebook is on and well as badges and all categories are showing as being on as well.

Can try resetting Facebook by same method long press >tap info >this time scroll to storage clear data then force stop it

I had the same issues whenever I switch to android from iphone and back and forth. Conclusion = the android version of social media apps vs ios just aren't built to that quality. This is from a person who goes back and forth very often.

Yes, I really want to love this phone but I have a feeling it's going back. I don't have the patience for stupid little issues like this .I have tried everything and Facebook will not
.show the badge.

Try Facebook lite or from your browser , I know lots do this way

I can but the issue I have is I shouldn't have to. The app and notifications should work like they are supposed too.

I’ve had this issue with the Samsung phones I’ve had as well as the pixels I’ve had. Also a lot of delayed notifications.

I also use iPhones and own both devices so I know how you feel.

I agree but sometimes if something not working as it should can use alternatives in mean time until can figure it out . By the way did u try the reset ?
