Is Facebook "Life Feeds Sync" causing our battery drain?
Not sure if this has been covered yet, but my data kept running... no matter if my phone was off, on, awake, asleep... (you get it) except when I made a call - which is standard on a CDMA. Well I restarted and had the same thing going on... long story short, NOTHING was running. So I go to Accounts & Sync to see if there was something wrong there. News & Stocks were both set to manual and Facebook & Twitter were put at 4hrs... then I noticed something. The sync Live Feeds option on Facebook wasn't going with the 4hrs sync option... it was syncing everything update by the minute. My battery had drained 35% in an hour and the awake time on my phone was through the roof. So I turned that option off...
...afterwards I listened to Pandora for about 30min, played on Google Earth for 15-20mins, then had an hour long conversation (in poor reception in my basement) with my Mom and my phone battery had only gone down maybe 20% in those two hours of intensive phone use... Is Facebook Live Feeds sync what's killing everyone else's batteries? I'll test this more tomorrow...
