FaceBook Calendar Problem

Hi All,
I'm new to the boards so I apologize if this isn't in the right place. Anyways, last night I received the OTA update to EC05, and I was ecstatic. I installed it this morning when I woke up, and was having some problems with it at first, but they eventually worked themselves out and I love FroYo. However, now my Facebook doesn't sync with my calendar. It syncs with my contacts just fine, and even the events sync, but I cannot get the birthdays to sync with them. I really like having the birthdays in the calendar, but I cannot figure out how to get them to sync, Before the update they were there and working just fine. Any help is appreciated.

I'm using a Sprint Epic 4g on a stock rom.

I really need help with this, I cannot figure out how to get the birthdays to sync. It's quite annoying.

Prob something not playing right with the update. I don't use FB much but you could try going to settings>applications>manage applications>Facebook then clear data and cache. Could also try removing and installing the app again. If your using FB through your accounts, try removing the account and adding again. Just some ideas, hope you can get it working.

For some reason, they didn't work when I first tried. But I tried again, after I cleared the cache, deleted the entire app, and deleted my sync accounts. Then, i re-did my integrated sync account on the Epic, and waited. Finally it worked. Then I just re-downloaded the FB app. Thanks a bunch!

Sorry that didn't work for you. I just use the email reminders and that is pretty reliable. That would at least give you something.

A few weeks ago my wife's Facebook wasn't updating. The Market was not saying that a new update was available, so I searched the Facebook app in the market and it DID require an update. So I just installed the new one and it updated and has worked fine ever since. So force a check for an APP update if something that came installed stops working.

That actually did work out in the long run. It didn't at first, but I waited a while and eventually they all showed up in the calendar. Thank You.
