Try the "Force Dark Mode" option in the developer settings. That should do it.

I just confirmed that this does work. Just enable Developer settings and then go into the dev settings and look for the force dark mode option.

Yup, force dark mode in Developer Settings will make all apps that don't support dark mode yet dark. Works great.

Settings - About Phone - Software Information amd tap the Build Number like 5 times to enable Developer settings.

Once enabled it'll be at the bottom of the main settings page.

After you set this setting you won't have to make any more posts asking how to enable dark mode on a particular app. Lol

Oh also, you may need to force close an app and relaunch it for the dark mode to take effect.

Yeah I did that but how do i switch FB to dark mode now? When i click into developer settings it says night mode is on, but still some apps aren't dark.

Yes. I don't have a force dark mode in developer options. I tried on my S8 before trying on my Ultra. Does the S8 not have this option?

Yeah I don't think S8 supports the native Android Dark Mode.

Yeah got it to work on my Note 9 and my Ultra. Thanks a bunch! Love having everything in dark mode. The FB app doesn't look too bad with it being forced instead of native. Same with Google Hangouts.

Yeah the FB app looks a lot better in forced mode compared to how it was in the past. There's still a few little off spots but overall it's not bad. FB needs to hurry up and release an official dark mode.

Once you've turned on the new Facebook interface, click on the down arrow in the top-right corner to open your Account menu. You can then toggle the “Dark Mode” option to activate the setting. If you want to revert to Light Mode, you can turn off Dark Mode by following these same instructions.

Thanks! I was trying to be patient since on the web I was able to get the dark mode but they move so slowly. This is great! A few places kinda off but I love it overall.
