Facebook features not working properly since update

I've had weird issues with facebook recently.
- news feed waaay behind the time, like 6 hours, then it updates.
- When I get "search" I find that some of the links to pages don't respond. Instead I get Can't Connect now, check your internet settings, when I was clearly connected to Wifi.
Or the page jumps to the top of the list when I touch it. For some reason, it seems to be pages related to to businesses, media outlets etc.???
- I can't edit search. I can't access my own activity log. That bug seemed to be fixed, but then, stopped working again. I can edit my profile photo etc, but I can't edit my activity log.
I deleted the data and restarted it, seemed to be ok. I can't uninstall, only disable.
All my other apps seem to be fine...so it could just be that the new Facebook sucks the royal and is riddled with bugs.

All these issues are only on mobile, not desktop. I've heard so many freaking complaints from users about Facebook lately, so it seems I am not totally alone, and I doubt that it's my phone. I sent FB some messages, waiting to see what happens.

I've seen a few other threads about FB app problems recently. The most recent update might have been buggy. You could always use the mobile site for now, which shouldn't be affected by those bugs.

yes, I have seen a number of complaints, the exact same issues.
I cleared the cache and data, restarted and it worked, for a while. Then did a soft reset, which worked, for a while...the issue keeps recurring! Another fix, is to switch on flight mode, for a few moments, then turn it off. Restart the device and it works. I tried that as well, but the problems recur. However, you can access facebook via mobile browser. I believe you're right, that the update is buggy! Presumably, they'll issue a fix.
