Facebook for HTC Sense

Ok I am trying to figure this one out. I go to have Facebook find contacts on my phone to add them. Sometimes it works but 99% of the time it doesn't work. Works on my TBolt but not on my Rezound.

Welcome to Sense...?? I never had Facebook(Sense) work properly which is why I removed it. I never wanted to sync my FB contacts and Sense always prompted me to do so. That being said I stopped using the Sense version after we got root so I don't know that it was ever truly fixed.

Recent updates have made the FB/Sense thing a major pain. I authorized Sense at first, but it started syncing all these unwanted "appointments" to my calendar so I de-authorized it on FB. Now Sense has a permanent alert on my status bar bugging me to reauthorize.

Anyone know how to get rid of this status, preferably without doing too much destruction to current apps/settings?

Try uninstalling updates / not using the official facebook app

How I fixed the calendar appointments was to go into Accounts & sync and on the Facebook app uncheck the sync calendar and/or sync contacts ( if you don't want to have the contacts loaded ) You can also go to the Facebook app and in settings opt to not have contacts sync. I also had to clear cache on the calendar to remove all of the birthdays. You can then authorize Sense and it will not load the crap..
