Have a two-week old Droid Bionic running build 5.5.1_84_DBN-55, totally stock un-rooted phone. And think I may have found a PRETTY big glitch in the matrix!
Previously I had been using a FB app called FriendCaster, but when I got my Bionic there was also a new version of FB released to market around the same time. So instead I've uninstalled that, been using the regular official FB app, and the help of Motorola's built-in social networking features.
Tonight while reading an RSS news feed I came across something I wanted to share with a friend. Rather than sending it to share through the FB app (which does NOT allow posting to a friend's wall directly), I instead to share to "Social Networking" ... at the top where it said Status Update I clicked there, and changed it to "Post to friend's profile"
At first I tried this on a friend and it said it "posted" successfully, but later I checked and it had NOT. So then, instead of that article and that friend, I tried a different article but posted it to my WIFE'S wall on FB. It worked.... BUT (and here is the BIG GLITCH), it doesn't show up on her wall as being posted by me "to" her --- no, instead it posted to HER WALL as if SHE POSTED IT !!!!!
To sum up the issue in a sentence --- using the DROID built in Motorola "Social Network", it appears that I can post things to people's wall AS THEM !!!! Please someone else attempt to duplicate and confirm ... that could be interesting!!!!
