Facebook is now working

well its working on my phone. i was going to post this yesterday but i wasnt sure if it was posted by anybody else already. So up until yesterday my facebook widget did not update at all. i know everybody on here was a little aggravated just as i was. i called up verizon because my call waiting was not working either so i was talking to tech support and they fixed my call waiting by just dialing *228 and then 2, to update my roaming area and it worked. next thing i knew my facebook widget is updating. idk how the 2 are linked together or maybe it was a coincidence but now it works.

is everybody still having trouble with the widget updating or was it fixed a while ago and i didnt notice?

Facebook widget will work for awhile the stop working its a ongoing issue.

how long is a while? so far mine has been updating for about 24 hours. the tech support rep i talked to told me to log out and log back in and it should work temporarily but i didn't have to do that. he also said it was not an issue with verizon but more so facebook itself and that it may or may not be fixed with the update coming out next month.

a little off topic but it been bugging me a bit. i know people here are either really big fans of the physical keyboard or they hate it entirely, but i was just curious about one thing. why did they leave out the question mark on keyboard. every time i'm texting and typing in a question i have to go to the soft keyboard in order to use a question mark. it makes no sense

I assume you mean on the physical keyboard...

Look right next to ENTER. (its a white question mark)

don't worry.. i thought they left it off too... but its there.

I did the same thing with the question mark too. I felt pretty dumb when I found it. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

the issue with the facebook app's constantly changing working status has more to do with facebook going through some updates on their end, it's breaking a lot of things with a variety of platforms.

personally, i'm getting really frustrated with facebook and all the crappy new ideas that they're very poorly trying to implement.
