Facebook live on Galaxy 10.1 Note

Hi. I can't seem to be able to go live on my Galaxy 10.1 note. I have reinstalled facebook, lates version, I have the go live option but when I click it I get a black screen and no reaction to any commands. My front and back camera are not covered. I can take pictures and videos normally otherwise. I am not very computer literate so unaware of plug ins and other things I may need to have (re)installed. This model tablet appeared before FB launched the live option, I wonder if that may be a problem. Thank you!
