Facebook Messenger on Samsung S5 losing connection

When I'm on mobile data everything is fine but when I'm connected to WIFI, messenger sometimes lose connection althought there is no error message.
I know it loses connection because I don't see active people when I open app and sometimes I get message after few minutes or see missed call. Most of the time it's no more then 5minutes offline and happens randomly every day.
It's like this for 2 years already.
I'm not sure is it phone problem, app problem or what...
I think it's not app problem because I have this problem with whatsapp also but it's not so severe.

Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or only your home network?

I didn't try other wifi.. don't have any around here and even if I go in bar or something, everything might be fine for those few hours.
Btw seems it's same on whatsapp and messenger but I wasn't aware for whatsapp because I don't have phone calls there so had no missed calls. So it's definitely not application problem but phone/wifi.

If you've only been able to observe it on your home wi-fi network so far, then try rebooting the router first (by unplugging its power for 10 seconds). If that doesn't help, see this guide for more ideas: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html. I'd check to see if there's a lot of congestion in the wi-fi channel your router is using.

Another thing to consider is that Bluetooth can sometimes interfere with 2.4 GHz wi-fi. If your Bluetooth is on, see what happens if you turn it off for a while (if feasible).

It's not network problem for sure because this problems last for 1 year or more and in the mean time we have changed 2 or 3 routers along with ISP. Also, other people in my house don't have these problems.
Bluetooth is off.

Does your phone have a Smart Network Switch option in the Advanced Wi-fi Settings?

Yes but I turned it off because alot of the time I share network from phone to computer and I need it stable (not losing connection even for a second).

Even when this moment comes, when there is no network on messenger/whatsapp, other internet applications (chrome, facebook etc.) works normal.. have internet.

Hmm actually this problem happens on mobile network also, not just WIFI. I am on WIFI 80% of the time so I was not aware.
