Facebook messenger ridiculously slow?

Hi,

is there a way to speed up the fb messenger ap?

I'll get messages to my phone 1/2/3 minutes after the message being sent.

Any ideas?

I have this problem too. Its bad when I'm on WiFi but right on track when I'm on data. I've done a chat on my computer and another on my phone both using the same WiFi and the phone doesn't register messages for nearly 1-2 minutes after they are sent from the phone or received on the phone (but instantaneous on the computer)

What kind of data speeds are you getting? The only time I've had trouble with the speed of FB messenger is when my data was super slow. Do a speedtest to see if that's the problem.
