Hey all. I've been faithfully using the alternative app messenger lite for quite some time now, and I was considering making the jump back to the normal version.
Before I do that however, I want everyone's feedback! Is the app worth having over the lite version? How intrusive are the ads? How does it affect battery? Your experience using it on the pixel 3/XL?

What's your reason for wanting to go back to the standard app? I also use the Lite version and the only thing I miss is the dark mode.

Out of nowhere, pictures sent and received suddenly appear merely as a name of a file, clicking prompts downloading, which never ends up actually happening.

Facebook messenger is the Devil incarnate...... what did your poor phone ever do to you to deserve having that installed on it? Might as well have Mark Zuckerberg take a personal leak on your phone ;-)
