Facebook not remembering Android sign in from app or browser.

Hi everyone.

I posted on the Facebook help page but I'm not getting any help whatsoever so I thought you guys/gals would be the better people to ask.

I'm have a very annoying problem. Facebook is not remembering the browser or app I use to login from on my Galaxy S8 and I'm getting repeat notifications in my Facebook for Android app telling me ...... 'Your account was logged in to from an unrecognised browser or device. Please review this login now.

I go to review it and it says the device is Facebook for Android (which it is). I go to 'Review Login, I click on 'This was me'. the 'Remember Browser' is ticked and I click 'continue'. I then get another notification notifying me about a login again

It's not remembering my login device and it's looping. I now have about 7 duplicate notification messages.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please can someone help me to resolve the problem?

What happens if you clear the cache and data from the Facebook app on that phone, in the App Manager?
