Facebook - Notifications turning off

my facebook app (not the facebook messenger) keeps turning the notifications off.

i like to keep it turned on for things like new friends requests, tags and comments on my wall.

i am not sure when this happens, because when i turn them on they stay on for the immediate future but after a few days when i fail to be notified by this app i check again to find out they have been turned off again.



anyone else have this issue? any clue what might be causing it?

I've never noticed that--it's usually the opposite, where notifications turn on when I prefer them to stay off.

Go to System Settings/Apps/All, select Facebook, and make sure the Notifications box is checked.
