Facebook photo sync

My nexus 5 does not sync Facebook photos to my contacts without an app(which doesn't work anymore) because Google took that ability out.

Does anyone know if Moto puts that back in? I know all of the companies with their own UI still do this.

The 2014 version of the Moto X did not. There was an app called uber sync that did it, however Facebook updated their program and it broke Uber sync. I don't know if there is a way to do it now, but would love to know the same thing.

I've always used HaxSync. Works well for me, has high resolution option too.

I thought Haxsync was gone. That's why I started using Ubersync a while back.

I believe Haxsync stopped working, it stopped updating any of my contacts photos.

Yes, HaxSync no longer updates contact photos properly. I just checked it. I recall reading somewhere that this was due to a change in Facebook's end that was actually causing all third party Facebook contact photo syncing apps to break.

Seems like sync.me is still updating contacts for me.
