Facebook Problems

Hey guys!

I'm on an HTC Thunderbolt and the whole Facebook app notifications seems to be buggy. The only time I get a notification up in the notification bar is when I have a new message, which turns out to be nonexistant because someone is trying to chat with me and I can only view that chat on the computer for some reason.

How, or can I, get it so that any comments on statuses or pictures show up as a little number on the Facebook icon on my "desktop" like with texting or email?

And, can I get Facebook so it doesn't show that I'm online when I'm using Facebook for Android so people don't chat me and expect me to reply?

I've had the same issue with the notifications, but as far as chat I've been able to access those on my phone.

Don't feel bad, it's not just on the TBolt. Facebook for android has gotten better, but it is still not perfect. I just use email notifications for FB. Works for me. As far as chat, there are a few chat clients that work much better than the FB app.
