Is anyone having issues trying to access the Facebook site from their device?
There are times when I can access it fine, but most of the time I get "Connection error.. Try Again"

I'm having to use my phone or my laptop to view Facebook on the web.
I would like for this to replace my phone and laptop for simple internet browsing.

I sometimes get that. I just close that browser tab and reopen FB in the new tab. Then it loads fine.

Still no luck. It keeps trying to load the mobile site and not the desktop site.
Keep getting the same error.
Works fine using Dolphin Browser HD.
Hate having to go back & forth between browsers.

I've got the same problem perhaps the update to flash might help? Who knows lol

Make sure you switched the stock browser to show desktop web pages:

Setting stock browser to use desktop user agent instead of mobile view :
1-type "about:debug" in address bar, no quotations.
2-click on > menu button for browser in the Top right corner >settings >debug in the browser (not action bar)
3-change UAString to Desktop
4-exit settings and voila, full webpage view

Notes:
You may have to type the full url in order to load the desired page as non-mobile view
You'll need to repeat the process each time you load the stock browser.

thx to Fumetsu!

OK, I figured it out. Force close the browser in settings. Then do the about:debug trick.

That worked! Thanks!
I prefer the full site over mobile anyway with a screen size this large and the speed, in comparison to my phone. Thanks for the info because the mobile site kept giving me problems.

Now my next issue will be trying to figure out how to review comments on a photo.
When I open a picture someone posted on the News Feed it opens in Facebook's own picture frame.
By doing so, I'm unable to scroll down to view comments.
The only way I've been able to get around that is to press and hold the picture or album I would like to see,
then open it in a New Tab. The picture will then appear within the webpage, and not the new format.
I'm then able to see comments. This little trick I'm using works for now, but it's an extra step I have to take.

Another thing you can try is to open the picture I in the new format and hit "refresh" in the browser. It should then revert it back to the old style of viewing images. Another step yes, but this is honestly a problem I've had on multiple machines as well. I think we should blame Facebook for their crappy image viewing..
