facebook sync not working

So my Motorola Photon was busted, my dad upgraded, and gave me his old phone, which is the EVO whole new different phone to get used to. I have non of my contacts because my other phone synced through facebook. I go into Accounts and Sync: Add Account : Facebook :Sign in, and gives me this: WARNING: The service is currently unvailable. Do you want to try again? I click yes, and it gives me the same message. WTH, please help!
