Facebook wanted me to update,I did and now I have no icon to click on,why?

I don't know why. Have you looked in your app drawer?

Did you check in your app drawer? If it's there, long-press it and drag it back to your home screen. Sometimes app updates cause icons to be removed form the home screen.
