the Facebook widget has been going blank and becoming unresponsive when ever I change my live wallpaper. have to remove the widget and replace. anyone else having the same issue?

It goes blank for me all the time and I don't use live wallpapers. I removed it in the end

It's an known issue on FB side. Seem like the app needs a serious update. Many are reporting connection issues. Almost every time I open the app, I get a white screen.

Facebook is in the process of completely rewriting their app from HTML5 to native, they did it for iOs a few months ago to rave reviews. Performance went through the roof. Android's many forks are apparently giving them some trouble, but hopefully the new product will be rolled out soon.
appreciate the replies. good to know its not just because of my live wallpapers. I love those battery draining little guys. hahaha.
