Facebook Woes

Probably the only complaint I have about my new phone is the lack of a 100% working Facebook experience.

The Facebook app seems to periodically just stop updating/issuing notifications for periods at a time.
TweetDeck works for awhile but then suddenly loses my settings.
Seemic doesn't automatically update/issue notifications at all plus I don't like the fact that the updates from multiple services aren't integrated in one stream like Tweetdeck does.

Not sure what other options I have at this point.

I'm using Friendcaster Pro (there is also a free version). It isn't perfect but I like it better than the default facebook app.

Honestly one of the things I miss from my palm pre was palm's facebook app was much better designed right from the get-go imo. It didn't get updated to new features as much, but overall it was a better FB experience.

So, I am on day three of owning the Infuse coming from 7 years of Blackberrys. I cannot seem to tag people from a phone photo and also it seems I cannot LIKE other photos that pop up on the newsfeed. Is this your experience also?

I jumped ship from BlackBerry ... but I will say this.... (are ya listening Google/Facebook?) Blackberry had it nailed in the fb department with the beta version then official. It was like actually being on the fb site as far as likes, tags, and whatnot.... to the point of a love/hate relationship with notifications. That's probably the thing I miss the most from my BlackBerry.

I got a solution.... Get rid of facebook lol. Seriously that crap has become so annoying and invasive. Damn companies are looking you up before they even hire you. It is just getting insane. I finally just deleted mine. I feel much better. I'm also just waiting on google+ to take off so I can share with actual friends. Not ask these people that you knew in school or some crap that you never actually talked too lol.

I'm having issues uploading videos.

Gallery>Select video>Share>Facebook

It goes to upload, but never does. In the drop down menu from the Home screen, it shows 0%, and never moves. Not sure what the problem is.

Companies can only "see" if you leave the doors open,far more intel is retrieved
via "smart phone" then people will admit to.

Yea but there is a problem with that. People don't have to leave doors open. These companies are hacking into profiles. Believe me.

That is just a bit paranoid. Maybe you associate with the wrong companies.
