I have I fixed it by deleting the app and then re installing

Only kidding!

Try clearing the cache. The Facebook app for Android is a notoriously buggy thing - every update seems to make it worse.

Yes I tried that didn't help...

Then I would try yodatom's suggestion and uninstall and reinstall the app.

I had to do both (clear cache and reinstall) to get mine back working right so it wouldn't fc everytime.

I'm glad they finally added push notifications that work....right when I stopped using Facebook as much. #Twitter
