So I'm trying out some watch faces with Facer. They seem pretty nice especially now that it's not eating up my battery, but I can't figure out how to use any findings or anything.

This one face I'm using is text for the time of day, the creators description says it can be changed to numbers with one touch, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Anyone figure out how to use Facers functions on the S3?

Try single, double or triple tapping the face when it's active in various spots.. That should do it

Thank you for the response. I have tried that, but I thought maybe there was something different for S3's because I didn't get it to work. I'll try poking around it again. Thanks.

Nope that's not working. I get a message from triple tapping that says it's not themable, but that's it.

Sorry..I probably shouldn't have said"that will do it" and it would have worked.

Which face? I'd be happy to try it.

I did read in their forum that some developers have been reporting that different users are have different results with the faces on the sé and it's not clear why..I wonder whether that's related?

All good. I appreciate the help. It's called "Insto", the 12hr version.

Thx!

Facer still seems to drain my battery way too quickly (more than what's needed for the display)... Hopefully they'll fix it if it can be fixed

no battery improvement for me after update. used 2.5%/hr with stock watchface, then used over 5%/hour with facer, no other changes (both on AOD).

I tried last night and noticed similar, same drain as well. Stock watch faces work awesome as far as battery goes, Power Saver is even better (7 days yay!). Facer falls flat on its face of you will. It's too bad because they have much better options than Sammy has currently.

Although I haven't found any other faces but Samsung with the motion background that moves with the watch and the shadow detail, which is why I tend to stick with the stock faces

Just tried the beta version out and same issue. Tried it for 2 days and every day when I get home from work the S3 battery was around 25 to 30%, with Sammy faces I get home with around 70% at the end of the day. Love a lot of the facer faces though.

Same issue here. Needs optimizations.
