Facial Recognition

I thought the Note 4, allowed for facial Recognition and retina unlocking? Does anyone else recall this being on the leaked specs?

I don't remember hearing anything about it. I believe they replaced it with the fingerprint unlock.

Here's the article, but as I reread it, it does say, "may have it," and I assumed it "did " have it. This is why I bought it.

No phone has retinal unlocking, as far as I know, and the facial unlocking sucked huge on phones that had it. I looks like it might work better on Lollipop, but we still have to wait to see if Sammy puts it back in.

I was surprised facial recognition wasn't even an option (not that I would use it). I thought it was a standard Android feature.

I know it was was a feature on the Note 3. Maybe they realized it wasn't used much and got rid of it.
