I have bought a p9 lite from ebay and it seems to be stuck because of factory Reset Protection. It is asking for the previous owners login details.
So I emailed the seller and he was very kind to tell me his login details but it still will not work.
The thing is yesterday I managed to get past the login screen with his details but then it was asking for more information like a phone number ending in such and such numbers. So he told me his phone number which seemed to tally and I entered it in but then it dumped me back to the login screen.
He reset the device within the android system recovery before he sent it me. Does this trigger a lock out period?
