Factory Reset

I just did a factory reset on my ASUS Transformer after the ICS update. I had been dreading it, but it really wasn't bad. Whey I re-synced Google, all of my apps got restored. I am considering a reset on my EVO because of the low space issue. Will Google restore my apps? If not, what is the best way to do it.
