Battery pull? When the phone goes nuts a battery pull and reboot can help.

Was your device rooted and running a custom rom? Did you have a custom theme? If your system was replaced doing a factory reset could screw some things up you may need to actually SBF unless you were cautious and had a backup :)

If that is not the case the Factory Reset should not have screwed anything up. You are on 2.2?

yes running 2.2...no custom roms or themes... will not let me turn off lock for screen after wakes up from standby and i could before...and i have no haptic feedback on keys when i type texts, emails, etc...haptic feedback is set to on in the settings

Where are you enabling haptic feedback in settings? Just curious because even though it is haptic feedback. On my device the actual setting is called "Vibrate on Keypress".

Also what do you mean by "will not let me turn off lock for screen after wakes up from standby" I am not sure I am understanding exactly what you are saying.

when my phone is on standby and i push unlock button on top of phone and the screen lights up i have to slide the unlock button on screen to right. Before i did the reset i had that part disabled so when i woke the phone up i was on my home screen already... i dont like to have to slide the unlock button to get to my home screen....cant disable that now

I do not know that you can do that in 2.2 without an app. Are you sure you were not using an app like No Lock from the market. I may be wrong.

no i was not using any third party app.....maybe it was left over from 2.1 or something because on my last version of 2.2 i could turn that off and now i cant after reset....when i click on that in settings-location and security-set up screen lock-screen unlock security-none it turns red so maybe i cant do it now

thats correct. 2.2 does not let you disable the slide lock. if you had it disabled in 2.1, you were fortunate enough not to have to use it, as there was no way to enable it. now that you factory reset though, there is no way to disable it in the settings. you can use an app like No Lock to disable it though

Heres Motorola Response to this info... Disabling not allowed...
