Fading volume when phone rings

Hi I want to fix the volume on my ringtones. When I first got my I was given the option of having the ringtone gradually go from quite to loud every time I had an incoming call. So I tried it & I dont like it. I cant for the life of me find a way to get it to just sound normal when it rings instead of the gradual increase in volume. Will someone please please please help me?!?!

I assume you've checked your call settings? From the home screen press phone>menu>Call settings>Ringtone and keypad tones.

You can also check phone>menu>My call sound.

Have a peek and see what your settings are.
