"failed login attempt" notifications are making me crazy.

My yahoo account got hacked 4 months ago, so I changed my password, no worries, but since that day, my account has been under attack and on my Galaxy I get "failed login attempt" notifications over and over and over about 15-20 times a day! Now, that notification is driving me insane. I can't figure out how to disable it.

Clearly, I can't stop unknown strangers from attempting to hack my email, but can I get my Galaxy to stop beeping every time they try?

Can anyone assist me in this matter?

Thanks in advance.

It's a security feature implemented by Yahoo. You can't disable it. You might want to try Gmail... I know of dozens of Yahoo users who have had their accounts hacked. Some reset the password and move on, many others reset and continue to have issues that don't seem to go away.

Well that sucks. I have a Gmail as well, but I've been using my yahoo for the last 11 years and still get email from sites and things I signed up for years ago. The thought of having to reassign all those instances makes my head spin.

I guess I'll just delete that account from my phone and only use my laptop for it.

Thanks for the help, Trucky.
