Failed to back up My profile section saved in Contacts

Samsung S6, when I try to back up to a Samsung account I get this:

"Failed to back up My profile section saved in Contacts."

Doesn't matter what I am trying to back up. I've also deleted the Samsung account from the phone, created a brand new one with Samsung, and set the new one up in the phone – with exactly the same issue.

Any ideas what this is? Looks like my device is totally unable to sync with Samsung's servers.

I know it's a confusing title, but that is exactly the error message I get.

Could really use some help on this.
 
Your very first Samsung account that you created is the only one that will sync with Samsung services.
 
How would they know whether it is my first account or my tenth? New account, new email, new everything.

As far as I can tell my S6 has never synced to a Samsung account?
 
Regardless, it wouldn't sync with my first account either.

I have never been able to sync my S6 with Samsung, so I am unable to back up the phone. Any ideas?
