failed to install

My gf updated he verizon s5 today and after the reboot she says shes stuck at a black screen that says "failed to install"... can someone help me out? How can she get her phone to work again?

Try pulling the battery out and leave it out for a minute or two then put back in. See if that would help.

Most likely the battery was too low to complete the update.

Or, she did it OTA which is NOT reliable enough for updates.

Mine did it via WiFi and used about 8% battery getting it done.

Have her pull the battery as suggested already.

See if she can do a 3 finger restart:

Home Key down, Volume Low depressed, Power ON button last.

It should do a restart and then bring up a menu to allow her to repair the damage.
