Failed to update my location- no signal

This is the message that pops up on my phone every 45 seconds or a minute. I have a regular droid x with some small lame apps downloaded on it. Nothing fancy like rooting and all that. Im not that technical and literate. This has been going on for about 36 hours or more now. Ive tried airplane mode then turn it off. Ive tried taking battery out for a while along with memory card, ive tried checking for updates, I just dont know what else to do. I really havnt had any issues with the droid x since i got it back in Oct of last year. I really have enjoyed it. This crap is aggrivating though. My main screen i have weatherbug large one that takes up half the the screen. When i go to another town, it will update to that town. I just dont understand why this keeps popping up on my screen.

still been doing this all night and day today. Any ideas behind this. How do i do a factory reset on this phone. I will call tech support tuesday after the holidays if i cannot resolve this with your help.
