Fairphone does what tech giants refuse to do

...which it offsets by physically recycling one smartphone for every phone it sells.

My head cannon now includes a production line where every other phone goes straight into the recycling bin.

Anyway, all the fairness buzzwords doesn't make me want to buy a phone. My primary consideration is a quality device at a competitive price, with features I want (just too bad no one seems to tick those boxes anymore).

I've had my Fairphone 3 since August 2020. Not exactly bleeding edge but fine for what I need.
The USB C charging port was worn and I was having trouble charging - I just replaced this part at a cost of £17.95 plus 15 minutes of my time to install it - with any other phone I'd have had to replace the whole phone.
