So this thing fell out of my Atrix HD today... First thing I notice is that it was too small to fill up the back of the phone. Second thing I noticed was that is yellow and had no pull tab on the side.

One person I asked claimed that this was a battery for the Original Droid RAZR. Do you think its possible for a Manufactured refurbished phone to come with a Razr battery?

I don't think so, but what do you think?

Here is a link to a counterfeit battery that looks a lot like mine:

Mine looks like the one on the right.

I dunno if the battery is counterfeit, but if it's smaller than the original, I wouldn't trust it to stay in properly. If it slides around it might put wear and tear on the connectors.

The connector on the one on the right looks just like the fake EB20s I installed in my RAZR MAXX. (Yes, I packed 2 EB20s in place of the EB40)

I believe the MAXX has a 3300mah battery, doesn't it?
Mine came with a3200 mah battery which I wanted to replace because I think its capacity is about 30% diminished. The only reason I thought it might be worth putting in 2 EB20s was that I found some aftermarket ones on the cheap that were advertised to have a 3030 mah capacity each. I did get them both to fit in place of the EB40, but they were crappy batteries that failed to even take a charge after a few cycles so I put the original back in.
