Fan edition ever be available via major carriers?

Anyone heard if the Fan Edition will ever be available through any major carriers like Verizon ?

I've read thus far about 400,000 have been made available just in the South Korea market, although you can buy one through EBay. I'm not typically one to plunk the money down in full, especially having to buy it from EBay and not a carrier. Previously I did 2 year contracts paying phone off instantly at the discounted rate, but since none does that anymore I'd pay the phone off monthly.

The Note 7 hit everything just right for me, I'd love to get a FE at some point. The S8 and what I've read and seen of the Note 8 don't impress me, least not enough for the price of admission the Note 8 will cost.

I really liked that phone, but I don't expect to see it in America. Verizon and others won't want to mess with a limited launched product like this, and it's technically still banned from US flights according to a number of online sources.

International version may or may not work with Verizon if you import it, I'm not sure. Possibility it's GSM only and would require Tmobile or AT&T to use it.

Just heard about this a few hours ago, went to eBay and saw the asking price is more than what the Note 7 was.

Umm.

Uhh.

No VR, smaller battery, but gets some of the s8 software and comes in coral blue... if I randomly found $50,000 it would probably be in the top 10 list of things to buy.
