I'm just bought a LG G4 and am selling my Moto X. I loved this phone, but it had one Achilles heel...the camera, which has become increasingly important to me for capturing pictures of my baby.

Had the opportunity to use the camera for the first time on a recent trip and, well, all I can say is my ancient HTC Rezound took better pictures. Fortunately, the camera is the least important feature for me or, like the OP, I'd have to look elsewhere.
I do miss the active notifications and the much more premium feeling build quality of the Moto X, but the camera and battery life are night and day better on the LG G4 from what I've experienced so far and I like having the bigger screen as well.
Motorola Android phones are well known for having crappy cameras thus I prefer Samsung or LG cameras. The battery life on the Moto X 2014 sucks and it made it even worse not having a removable battery.
