Fascinate....Sick Of No Froyo!

I have had it on waiting on the 2.2 for my phone. It makes no sense to me why this has went on for so long. One side blaming the other side etc. I need to know the best and easiest way to root and get another os on this phone. The next step is getting another phone. Thanks in advance..........

Check the stickies in the rooting section. Just involves locating the file you want, getting the update file, and getting Odin. Then just a matter of following the directions.

In my opinion this phone runs perfect with 2.1, but that's just me.

It is not a complicated as you think. I waited a long time but now have no fear in trying a new rom or theme. May have to reinstall your apps but that is not a big deal with titanium or my backup. Dive in, this forum is full of great people to help you out of a jam. I'd start with Odin and one of DroidXCon's packages (latest superclean is a very safe bet). He's taken work from several contributors (call out to Adrynalyne) and put them all into easily flashable files. Easy to flash, leaves your phone rooted with Froyo and a new rom and ready to go.
