OK, there's been a lot of talk of super/ultra/hyper-fast 45 watt wired charging, but honestly I'm more interested in the faster wireless charging. Samsung advertises this fast charge 2.0 stand for the Note 10+:

https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...nd-15w-black-ep-n5200tbegus%2F&token=BuFZEwho

However, I've already got this pad with a fast charge 2.0 pad on the left:

https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...uo-pad-black-ep-p5200tbegus%2F&token=xH53v_yZ

What I'm wondering is: will the pad I've got charge the Note 10+ as fast as the new stand being advertised? I'm assuming that fast charge 2.0 is a common standard among Samsung devices, but the pad only advertises 12W charging on the S10+. I'm wondering if that wireless power limit is a function of the phone rather than the pad. Surely when Samsung designed this pad for the S10 rollout, they had the future Note 10 in mind as well.

Anyway I hope so. In addition to not wanting to drop more $$$, I honestly find the Duo more convenient since I can charge my Galaxy Watch at the same time.

I'm pretty sure the duo pad maxes out at 12.5w. I'll test it when the Note 10 comes in.

I ordered both. The duo pads are about $50 on ebay. After I received the duo pad, I loved it and ordered another. I don't like the old wireless pads. Bad form factor and slow charging. They did a good job at advertising 7.5w as fast wireless charging even though it's slow. Its sucks to be honest. Looking forward to the 15w charger though for my desk. Finally a real fast wireless charger.

I have a stand I got late last year that charges a phone and a watch. I wasn't planning on buying another stand. I use this overnigiht and it works great with the Note 9 and my watch. Hoping it works as well for the Note 10+

I have about a dozen Samsung fast wireless chargers, but it never occurred to me they might charge at different rates.

the wireless charging duo stand says fast charge 2.0, but does it charge the note 10 at 15w? it doesn't say one way or the other, just that it charges the s10 at 12w.

I'm pretty sure the 2018 fast wireless charger that is fast charge 2.0 maxes out at 12w. The new stand takes advantage of the note 10's ability to charge wirelessly at 15w. Don't think you will be able to charge at 15w unless you spring for the new (2019) 15w charger. That's my understanding from what I've been reading.

Thanks, but just to be clear I'm talking about the new Duo which was released earlier in 2019, at the S10's Unpacked event. Is this the one you're talking about too?

I think the duo also uses fast charge 2 0 which will only charge your phone at 12w. I have the non duo version which was fast charge 1.0 at 9w. I think the only way to get the 15w is with the brand new wireless charger.
