Fast Charger not always working correctly

So I use the standard samsung fast charger and cable that comes in the box. If I plug it in, it just says it's regular cable charging. I have to unplug it and plug it back in about 15 times until it finally will say fast charging, otherwise it takes a long time to charge. It's quite annoying and I'd like to know if anyone else is also having this issue. Do you think I should switch the cable?

It's likely a cable issue.

I had the same issue until I bought an aftermarket cable and charging unit and it now fast charges every single time I plug it in.

I'm pretty sure a few others here have swapped the cable only and had the issue solved.

I have this exact same issue, it's extremely frustrating! I just tried what the above post suggested, changing the cable, and my phone instantly started to fast charge so yes, do that!
