I'm trying to find out if I used a Samsung fast charger cord on my v10 could it hurt my phone.
Thanks, Jan

The cord has nothing to do with fast charging. It's the charger plug (car or wall) that contains the fast charge circuitry. Cords are pretty much interchangeable. So a cord from other manufacturers will work with your charger.

Oh ok thanks... I just wanted to make sure.

I've had zero problems charging with the LG wall charger and a Samsung cable. In fact, I've had to use the Samsung now exclusively because the original cable for some reason doesn't make good contact anymore unless the plug is tugged at an angle. I am not rough with my phone or accessories so don't know why this would happen after only five months.

That still falls under warranty. I would exchange it.

Not exactly true. Some cords provide much faster charge. I did a test using kil-a-watt and some cords are significantly better than others. I actually labeled the "duds" - still OK for some tasks. Any premium cord should be fine.
