Fast charging no longer fast

Got my new Note 7, had it for a couple of weeks, but seems that the fast charging has reduced massively.

Stuck it on a fast wireless charge yesterday whilst on 42%. It said "Fast Charging 1hr 40mins until fully charged". Tried it on a plugged in fast charge and it said the same thing. I don't think it will take as long as this (I charge it overnight) but seems ever since the replacement, the charging estimates are WAY off.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine seems slower too. The only charging device that charges as fast as before for me is the Samsung fast charge battery pack. That still flies.

I may have. I had a WTF moment the other day when I pulled my phone off the charger and it wasn't charged fully. I don't remeber the timeline but I know it should have had more of a charge than it did. I use both wireless and wired, haven't used the wireless after that, I was going to try it again more often this week to confirm before I get upset.

It never takes as long as the estimates say. Once or twice after placing it on my wireless pad, I'll find it shifted and didn't charge all the way. I'll know cause the led on the bottom won't be illuminated.

Noticed the same with mine. I thought maybe a recent app downloadrd. But batt shows nothing running in the background. Batt depletung faster too. At first replacement had amazing battery life. Now i take it off the charger and set it down screen off. Pick it up and its at 77 and no notifications.

Now ive had my phone on charger for about 45min was at 80 shouldve been at 100 by now. Its at 82.



Think it has anything to do with recent update? Last week picked up my phone and the little pop up that says android updated screen came and went so fast.

I havent even bothered using my wireless charger since I got my "safe" note 7. It is a $60 paperweight.

I noticed something odd yesterday when I charged the Note 7; when it hit a 100% charge the LED usually goes (blue or green, I forget which) but it didn't. It stayed red. On top of taking much longer than it should have to charge in general..

That's how it always has been. When it reads 100% it is actually not 100% yet.

Green. I know what you mean. Cause when mine is not green means i have a notification. Notidications seem to clear out the batt charge led
